El Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana (<strong>AIPC<\/strong>) recibi\u00f3 dos galardones por<br \/>\nsu excelencia en gesti\u00f3n y servicio, en el marco de la premiaci\u00f3n <strong>Airport Service Quality<\/strong><br \/>\n(ASQ) del Consejo Internacional de Aeropuertos (<strong>ACI<\/strong>, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).\u00a0[ad id=\u00bb11330&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>El aeropuerto, que recibe a m\u00e1s de 7 millones de pasajeros anualmente, recibi\u00f3 el<br \/>\nprimer lugar como Mejor Aeropuerto por Tama\u00f1o y Regi\u00f3n en la categor\u00eda de 5 a 15<br \/>\nmillones de pasajeros.<br \/>\nAdem\u00e1s, le fue otorgado el tercer lugar de Mejor Aeropuerto en Latinoam\u00e9rica y el Caribe<br \/>\nen la categor\u00eda sobre 2 millones de pasajeros al a\u00f1o.<br \/>\nEl PUJ es el \u00fanico aeropuerto de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana que ha logrado ganar y<br \/>\nmantener por dos a\u00f1os consecutivos esos reconocimientos internacionales.<br \/>\nEs uno de los 10 principales aeropuertos de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el m\u00e1s importante del Caribe insular.<br \/>\nLos premios de Airport Service Quality (ASQ) reconocen a los mejores aeropuertos del mundo, de acuerdo a la Encuesta de Satisfacci\u00f3n de Viajeros ASQ del Consejo<br \/>\nInternacional de Aeropuertos (ACI). Representan el mayor reconocimiento posible para los<br \/>\noperadores aeroportuarios y son una oportunidad para celebrar el compromiso de los<br \/>\naeropuertos de todo el mundo para mejorar continuamente la experiencia de los<br \/>\npasajeros.<br \/>\nCaracter\u00edsticas del PUJ<br \/>\nEl Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana es la primera terminal internacional privada<br \/>\nque oper\u00f3 en el mundo. Dispone de dos pistas, 27 puertas de embarques, 30 parqueos de<br \/>\naviones y tres salones VIP.
