[—] LA ROMANA, Dominican Republic.- A German tourist died this Saturday after suffering multiple injuries when she was hit by the propellers of the outboard motors of a motorboat, which occurred on a beach on Catalina Island, east from the country.
Amira Dhifallah, 28, was submerged in the water when she suffered the blows on Friday morning. [—]
The captain of the boat, David Morel, at first felt blows, but it was not until he saw her floating that he discovered what happened.

The tragedy occurred at La Pared beach. The foreigner has extensive cutting wounds in left shoulder and arm, in left thorax and bruised wound in hip and left thigh.
Dhifallah was staying in a residential El Cortecito, in the tourist area of Bávaro, La Altagracia province.
In the case there were officers of Criminal Investigations of the Police, the prosecutor Fryna Lebrón and the medical examiner Benito Kelly.
