The National Police investigates the death of a Romanian citizen, aged 21, after falling from one of the floors of a hotel, located in the sector of Bella Vista, the National District.
The victim was identified as Andreea Celea, who died of severe trauma due to vacuum release, according to the diagnosis of the acting physician.
On the fact, the spokesman of the Police, Frank Durán, said that there are no detainees, but that they are on the trail of a man to investigate him in relation to the death of the young woman. [ad id=»11330″]
«I can tell you that we have placed an impediment to the departure of the man, and we have alerted the ports and airports to avoid evading the authorities,» said Durán.
According to the eyewitness account of the incident, the young woman fell into the void in the early hours of this Saturday and immediately the security of the establishment reported the incident to the 9-1-1 National Emergency Response System.
Minutes later, a unit of 911 moved the body of the foreigner to the Royal Medical Center, from where it was later remitted to the National Institute of Forensic Pathology for the pertinent purposes. [—]
The National Police works on the analysis of evidence, inspection of the scene of the event, interviews with witnesses, among other investigation processes, in order to clarify the circumstances in which the event occurred, as well as establish if there were criminal hands, points out the agency report. The man who was accompanying the Romanian Andrea Celea, 23 years old, who died this morning after falling from the fourth level of the Hotel WP on Sarasota Avenue, where she was staying, was delivered this afternoon to the National Police.
The Police investigates the fact and looked for the man who accompanied Celea and surrendered today. The institution reported that other people are also being investigated by the case.
