HIGUEY, República Dominicana.-The Northern Directorate of the National Police said Monday that an airline JetBlue plane that came from Fort Lauderdale, Florida bound for St Croix, Virgin Islands, US emergency landing at the airport Gregorio Luperon Province Puerto Plata, after one of the passengers suffered a stroke in flight.
Police reported that Lee Frakie Sluss 74 US citizen, died about 2:00 am today at a health center of Cabarete, municipality of Sosúa.
According to the coroner who examined the body of the US, certified his death from acute myocardial infarction.
The body of the order revealed to be verbally questioned the wife of the deceased, Mary Gwendolyn Sluss 52, also a US citizen, said the plane Jet Blue came from the Airport Fort Lauderdale, Florida to St.Croix, but in the way her husband suffered a heart attack, forcing an emergency landing at the airport of Puerto Plata.
According to the police, Sluss Lee‘s body was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences Santiago for autopsied.
